The dot does the work.
drop. is a small, sharp tool. The identity says so: warm paper, near-black ink and a single signal-orange dot — the moment a file lands and becomes a link.
Logo
The wordmark is always lowercase and always carries its dot. The dot is round, signal orange, and sits on the baseline. The mark is the dot, landed in a tile — use it where the wordmark won't fit.
Colour
Mostly paper and ink. Signal is a highlight, not a background — one or two moments per screen (the dot, the primary action, a single hero shape).

Voice
Talk like a good command-line tool: short, exact, a bit dry. Say what happens, then stop.
Lead with the outcome
People want the link, not the infrastructure.
Agents are users too
Write for the person and the agent working for them, side by side.
Name it right
Lowercase, with the dot, in display text. Plain “drop” in commands and URLs.
